✨ Course Overview
Voice Among the Stars is a powerful 4-week virtual program designed to help high school girls in Africa discover their voice, build leadership skills, and explore their place in the African space ecosystem. Aligned with Women’s Month in South Africa, this course combines inspiration, mentorship, and collaboration to equip participants with real-world confidence—on Earth and beyond.
Co-hosted by Moonshot Africa and the global non-profit Cosmic Girls Foundation, the program blends storytelling, group activities, and expert-led seminars to create a unique learning journey for girls from all academic backgrounds—not just STEM.
🎓 What You’ll Learn
Each week focuses on a different theme:
Space 101 & Space in Africa - Understand how Africa contributes to space innovation and why space matters.
Finding Your Voice - Build communication skills, confidence, and personal presence.
Resilience in Action - Learn how to navigate challenges and lead with strength.
Final Showcase - Present your group project on “How to Achieve Quality Education Through Space.”
✅ Requirements to Participate
Be a girl in Grade 10, 11, or 12 in Africa (Ages 16 - 19)
Have a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with internet access
Be available for two 1-hour sessions each week (Tuesdays & Thursdays at 18:30)
Be willing to collaborate with peers in small group breakout rooms
Complete all sessions to receive your Certificate of Participation
